A domestic T20 Tournament full of entrainment called the National T20 cup will begin on 23rd September. All the big names of Pakistan cricket will take part in it and we will keep an eye on all National T20 Cup stats.
National T20 Cup was previously expected to start on 25th September. Now it is rescheduled as NZ canceled their Pakistan tour unilaterally. Earlier because of Pakistan’s series against New Zealand the matches were supposed to be played in Multan. Now after the departure of NZ matches will be played in Pindi and Lahore.

Muhammad Rizwan is carrying his brilliant form of 2021 with him. He is been getting runs through this year. He has already scored the most runs in a calendar year in T20 internationals. Now he is taking his form to the National T20 Cup as well as he scored fifty in his very first game of the tournament.
Talking of all-time run-scorer than this reward goes to Khurram Manzoor. Khurram Manzoor has played all the seasons of the National T20 Cup and has scored the most number of runs as well. He has scored 4 centuries as well in this tournament which is the most by any player.
Khurram Manzoor is playing for Sindh in this year’s cup under Sarfaraz Ahmed. He played for the same team last year as well and scored a century too.

Pakistan’s Eagle, Shaheen Shah Afridi, is the leading run-scorer in this year’s cup so far. He has been a star for Pakistan for the last 2 years now. Now he is the leading bowler of Pakistan’s pace attack. The point to note here is that he is only 21 years old so far and has a long career in front of him waiting for him to shine.
Shaheen was the leading wicket-taker in last year’s tournament as well as he grabbed the most number of wickets for the defending champions Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has been impressive here as well.

There are plenty of other hitters participating in this league but they have not got much chance to score through big shots. While Sohaib Maqsood is the all-time-table topper for hitting the most number of sixes in National T20 Cup history.
